Ms. Kim Lemmer-Asby

Children's House Lead Teacher

Ms. Kim holds a Primary (ages  3 - 6 years old) credential from the American Montessori Society and has been a teacher for over 35 years.

She considers Montessori methods especially beneficial because they allow teachers to reach students at their own level and foster independence and confidence in every student.

Ms. Krista Ready

Children's House Assistant Teacher

We are excited to welcome Krista to our community as the Children’s House Assistant Guide! She brings five years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Administration, including roles as a Lead Teacher and Assistant Director. Krista is currently working toward her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys supporting children as they explore their environment with curiosity and purpose, encouraging them to try new approaches, and sharing in the joy of discovering reading together.

Ms. Jessica Schulz

Toddler House Lead Teacher

Jessica joined Lake Country Montessori as the Toddler House Assistant Guide and, after five years in that role, is now beginning her second year as the Toddler House Lead Guide. She holds an International Montessori Teaching Diploma in Montessori Infant/Toddler Education through the North American Montessori Center.

Jessica is passionate about the Montessori philosophy of following the child and supporting children as they develop independence, respect, and a lifelong joy of learning. She enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and thoughtfully preparing the classroom environment to foster each child’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder, providing a meaningful and enriching first experience with learning.

Ms. Monica Chaplock

Toddler House Assistant Teacher + Childcare Lead Teacher

Monica is beginning her second year at Lake Country Montessori as a Toddler House Assistant Guide and Childcare Lead. She brings over eight years of experience in childcare programs, daycare, and in-home childcare. Her experience in Montessori-based childcare has deepened her appreciation for how capable children can be when given the right tools and environment. Monica especially enjoys helping children develop practical life skills and build confidence as they take an active role in their own learning.

Ms. Devini Dahanayake

Operations Coordinator

Returning to Lake Country Montessori for her third year, Devini serves as our Operations Coordinator. She plays an important role in supporting the school’s day-to-day operations, assisting families and staff, managing school communications, and keeping things organized behind the scenes. She also helps maintain the school’s website and digital presence, supports fundraising efforts, and assists with school events and activities throughout the year.
